The docs on Sending E-mail Notices (http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.4/Doc/en-US/plesk-8.4-unix-administrators-guide/index.htm?fileName=33727.htm) say:

You can specify name, e-mail address or both. To specify both name and e-mail address, use the following format: Name <your@e-mail.address>. For example: John Doe <admin@pleskserver.com>.

This is incorrect, the "John Doe <admin@pleskserver.com>" format is not accepted. Only the admin@pleskserver.com format is accepted.

Try "John Doe" <admin@pleskserver.com>

That also doesn't work. Plesk says marks the From field and says:

Error: You specified incorrect values

Seconded. I just ran into this myself. Anyone have any workarounds?

Hello breun,

Thank you for the report. It is our fault - will be fixed as soon as possible.
