Hi there!
I've just completely smashed up my Plesk 8.3.0 installation while using apt to upgrade to 8.4.0 on my Debian box. The installation finished with a success message but Plesk won't start (Starting Plesk... failed.). Anyway... after some more testing I simply uninstalled all psa packages and tried to use the 8.4.0 installer. I got the following error message:
Installation will not continue because your operating system
"Linux Debian x86_64" is not supported.
Refer to http://www.swsoft.com/en/products/plesk/reqs/ for
the complete list of supported operating systems.I've downloaded the x86_64 installer for Debian 4.0. Here's some info from /proc/version:
Linux version 2.6.18-6-amd64 (Debian 2.6.18.dfsg.1-18etch3) (dannf@debian.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)) #1 SMP Thu Apr 24 03:57:46 UTC 2008Any ideas how I can get Plesk 8.4.0 running asap?
Best regards
Sven
