Hello,

As a small service provider, we sell hosting packages and was wondering which account do you deliver to your customer ? Because for adding a new domain you need first to add a client account and then add the domain under that new client account and finally create the domain administrator account.

So do you deliver the client account or the domain administrator account for the end user? I think the client account is maybe a bit confusing for users and we won't be doing any reselling anyway. So what's the point of these client accounts if we don't offer reselling ?

Thanks for the input

Greetings

It's handy to keep track of what domain is operated by who. But if you don't care then you could just put all domains under one client and be done with it.

Ok so now I understand a bit more the point about this client account: one can keep track to whom the domain/hosting belongs.

So is it maybe possible to create client accounts and then deactivate the login to the control panel of this client account ? I would then just allow the domain administrator to login into the control panel.

Yes, that's possible.

We also use Plesk Expand and was wondering if a domain administrator can also log into his domain directly from the Plesk Expand control pannel, is this possible ?
