Which email program?

I have Plesk 8 but would like to add an email program to it.

Which works best with P8 and how would I go about installing it?

If I installed it from source, would Plesk recognize it?

I assume that you don't like qmail or Horde which come with Plesk. You could use Squirrelmail. Run a search, there are plenty of threads on it.

I'm referring to the background software that runs on the server, like Exim, Postfix, sendmail, etc.

Plesk has qmail, have you read the manual?

I figured out what the issue was...I was trying to send the email from the server that I am moving the website from, and of course that server still thinks that the site is still on that server so it is trying to deliver it locally.

I tried sending an email from another server/location and it went through fine.

What had me confused was that my hosting provider stated that I would have to install my own email software, so I assumed that there wasn't any running on the server. :rolleyes:
