I have an odd problem:

My Plesk Default Cert just expired, so I created a new one, and set it as default, and deleted the old one... however...

The old cert is still authorative, and is issued to anyone accessing the plesk admin area of the server.

The old cert is no longer anywhere available in the PLESK backend. The new cert is in fact in effect and used on two domains... and is set as default. However, the old (presumably deleted) cert remains for the PLESK panel.

I can chage this myself... but am just pointing out a possible bug here... I am running PLESK 7.1.1 on RH 7.3 Apache 1.3.27

Plesk > Server > Certificates

Then you need to tick the certificate you want to use on Plesk admin server, then click "setup" above the checkboxes. It will install the cert on Plesk admin server and restart it.

Well, yeah. I know that. I did that. I am just saying that it did not work.

Sort of a bug report.

Ah right ... email bugreport [at] plesk.com then :)

Server -> Ip Addresses -> Select the IP you are using -> Change certfiicate from "default certificate" to appropriate certificate. Note: I had to do a full stop/restart on psa itself (service psa stop / service psa start) to force-it to accept the new certificate for my server. May not be the best way, but it's the way I got to work...

Cool, that complete start / stop thingy did it. I never did get around to looking at the certs myself. I don't do any commercial hosting outside of my own design clients... so it was not a high priority.

Thanks for the tip.
