Odd Qmail problem

I have two domains which I receive mail for. The addresses are: webmaster@chatboxx.net and webmaster@headmechanic.com. Both are two separate pop3 accounts and when I use Outlook to grab my mail, I sometimes get the following error:

Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR Can't open the message file - it's gone!'

This only happens when there is new mail to be downloaded. If the mailboxes are empty, it passes this test just fine.

It sound like some permission problems.

Can you give us more specifics, like whats are permission and ownership on qmail drop zone, on what uid/gid is qmail running, etc.
